Personal yoga in English /// Warsaw
The personal attention of a private yoga lesson is the most effective way to accelerate the benefits of a yoga practice. For thousands of years, yoga has been taught one-on-one. With private yoga instruction, you’ll be challenged safely and and have the luxury of asking questions along the way.
Whether you chose to practice on your own or with friends or family – your yoga classes are tailored to help you reach your health and wellness goals. I design a program that fits in with your schedule, your location and your level of practice.
Until now, I have taught individually the following techniques: vinyasa yoga, prenatal & postnatal yoga, office yoga, aerial yoga, acro yoga and kids yoga.
Do you consider practicing yoga one-by-one? I invite you to take part in the first test-lesson. This trial meeting will help you to decide if individual sessions with my guidance are suitable for you. During this session, I will do a short interview about your experience, health state and expectations. I’ll lead about a 45 minute session and therefore I will give you the opportunity to know me and my way of teaching.
After this lesson – if you’re interested in common adventure with yoga – we will fix dates, the price and type of classes. Please contact me for more details.
Benefits of individual sessions:
- Freedom – you decide when you put yoga into your schedule
- Precision – thanks to the guidance teacher avoid bad habits
- Progress – private yoga lessons are the best way to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest
Classes are offered in your private home or workplace for small groups or an individual. Warsaw and nearby towns.
Monika Łazuk-Żuk OMG yoga & aerial – after many years of adventures with contemporary dance and theater I found yoga as the most balanced psycho-physical practice. In 2013 I graduated from Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw with a degree in Yoga and relaxation. In April 2015 I finished a yoga teacher training in India, Goa (RYT 200). In yoga I love the feeling of suspension and experiments with gravity. Parallel to the static work on the mat I practice Acro Yoga and Aerial Yoga. These techniques contain a strong flow element, and thus the flow of energy, potential, emotions. There is a place for both choreography and improvisation, for experiments with a form and drawing joy of simple things.
Feedback from some of my lovely students <3
Monika is en excellent and engaged Yoga teacher. She knows not only the asanas but the spirit and physical impact behind. She is an excellent advisor of several types of joya and she is keen on developing her own practices as well. I liked having lessons with her, becauses she helped me to go beyond my belief. I feel no pain at all in my back, I feel streched, less stressed since I work with her. She is absolutely professionnal, she is always on time, fully committed to teach, improve and practice.
Doing yoga with Monika is comfortable and fun. She is very open and welcoming, which makes it easy to put aside whatever is happening in the day or in the mind and allows one to focus entirely on breath, movement of body and peace of mind. She is patient when correcting positions, and always gives options to help when the body is simply not ready yet.
My husband and I decided to take private yoga sessions with Monika, as a way to broaden our fitness horizons. We were skeptical about our ability, as we primarily were cardio and weights people. Thankfully, we found Monika! She tailored all lessons to our level (absolute beginners) and helped us grow stronger in our practice and in our appreciation for yoga as as staple of a good fitness regimen. Monika is an inspiration, as she is so incredibly skilled and so passionate about her practice.
Monika has a good balance between explaining, encouraging and correcting the various poses so that even a complete beginner like myself gets the most out it. Lessons were really helpful, both Nadine and myself really enjoyed them they gave me a good idea of the basic moves and a better understanding of which style of yoga is best for me.
